Route Driver
Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Route Driver to join our client's team.
Responsibilities
Safely operate a box truck or other delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrival at each stop.
Load and unload products using a pallet jack or manual lifting techniques.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking shipments and obtaining signatures.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or inquiries professionally.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience preferred.
Experience in route driving, delivery driving, or courier services is highly desirable.
Familiarity with operating box trucks and pallet jacks.
Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
$18.00/hr.
