Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Pharmacy Technician to join our client's team in Vero Beach, FL.
Key Responsibilities

Accurately prepare and label prescription medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Retrieve, count, and package medications according to established protocols.

Maintain proper inventory levels by restocking shelves, tracking expiration dates, and assisting with ordering supplies.

Process prescription orders, refill requests, and insurance claims with accuracy and efficiency.

Provide courteous customer service, answer phone calls, and assist patients at the pharmacy counter.

Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment following state and federal regulations.

Assist pharmacists with administrative tasks, recordkeeping, and quality assurance activities.
Required Qualifications & Certifications (Florida-Specific)

Active Florida Pharmacy Technician Registration

Completion of a Board-approved Pharmacy Technician Training Program

High School Diploma or GED.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Certifications

PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) – CPhT Certification
Preferred Experience
-
Previous experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting.
