Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Drywall Hanger to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction-related tasks and possess expertise in drywall installation.
Duties:
- Hang drywall on walls and ceilings following blueprints or verbal instructions
- Measure, cut, and fit drywall panels to cover designated areas
- Secure drywall panels to metal or wooden studs using nails or screws
- Tape and apply joint compound to seams for a smooth finish
- Repair and replace damaged drywall as needed
- Work collaboratively with other construction professionals on-site
Experience:
The successful candidate should have experience in the following areas:
- Construction site work
- Drywall installation
- Metal stud framing
- Trim carpentry
- Tile laying
- Knowledge of plumbing in construction
- Familiarity with schematics and blueprints
- Previous work in the restoration industry is a plus
