Composite Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Composite Technician to join our manufacturing team.
Duties
Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, assemble, and finish composite materials.
Perform assembly tasks using mechanical skills, including bonding, sanding, drilling, and fastening composite structures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards; operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts when required.
Support machining processes related to composite fabrication by setting up and operating relevant machinery.
Experience
Proven experience working with composites in a manufacturing or aerospace environment is highly desirable.
Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
Familiarity with reading schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately.
Knowledge of fabrication techniques including sanding, drilling, bonding, and assembly of composite materials.
$18 - $19/hr.
