Medical Records Clerk
Job Description
Manpower is currently seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Clerk to support the Medical Examiner’s Office in St. Lucie County. This role is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, organization, and confidentiality of sensitive case files while assisting with front office operations. Pay

$18.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities

Maintain the creation, care, custody, and control of case files for the Medical Examiner’s Office

Process and maintain death certificates, affidavits, and official records in compliance with Florida statutes

Manage incoming telephone calls and front office communications

Accept subpoena service for Medical Examiners and coordinate documentation

Provide information and guidance to correspondents and the public

Communicate with surviving families with professionalism and compassion

Maintain strict confidentiality of medical and legal records

Perform filing, document management, and administrative support tasks
Qualifications
-
At least 1 year of office experience required

Associate’s degree preferred (relevant experience may substitute)

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and standard office equipment

Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Valid Florida Driver’s License with good driving record
