Inventory Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as a Tool Crib Attendant. As a Tool Crib Attendant, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our tool inventory, ensuring that tools are available to employees when needed. Your role will involve maintaining accurate records, issuing and receiving tools, and ensuring the overall organization and cleanliness of the tool crib area.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and organize the tool crib area to ensure a clean and efficient workspace.
Monitor inventory levels and reorder tools and equipment as needed to ensure an adequate supply is available.
Issue tools and equipment to employees based on authorized requests and maintain accurate records of tool transactions.
Inspect tools for damage or defects upon return, and arrange for repairs or replacements as necessary.
Conduct regular inventory counts to reconcile the stock and identify any discrepancies.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure tools and equipment are returned in a timely manner.
Assist in identifying and implementing improvements to optimize tool crib processes and efficiency.
Shift
6:00am - 2:30pm (Monday - Friday)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00 per hour
