The Program Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Academic Mentoring Program (AMP). Duties include managing the AMP staff and volunteers, daily academics and enrichment, student and management reporting, attendance reporting for academics and volunteers, student-volunteer matching and management, academic assessments, reading and writing supplementation, maintaining student case files/notes and managing student success plans together with the athletic team.
Pay/Compensation/Details:

$50,000.00/yr.
Requirements and Responsibilities:

Bachelor’s degree in communication, public relations, marketing or equivalent preferred

They must have strong organizational and social skills, be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic with a professional and friendly demeanor, have the ability to multitask with limited guidance or supervision.

A degree in Education and ongoing certification is required.

Assist with budget process for the department
-
Contribute to the overall growth of the program, assist in building out the department and take on managerial responsibilities as additional staff join the department

Manage the Academic Program - Monday - Thursday, within the program schedule of 2:00-6:00 PM

Manage all student athletes while in academics, including volunteer-student matching and group activities. This will include personally mentoring students.

Strengthen and Maintain the Volunteer Program

On-boarding new volunteers
-
Managing volunteer relationships
-
Entering and maintaining volunteer data in Salesforce Database
-
Entering and managing center-based and outside volunteer hours
-
Manage volunteer schedules
-
Coordinate and lead recruiting events at local churches & community groups
-
Assist with volunteer marketing both print and electronic
-
Support volunteers with continuing professional development

Maintain the Center for Academics and Training (CAT) including decor, cleanliness, supplies and equipment

Coordinate efforts with the Independent Study Program and the College and Career Readiness program managers

Development of Program/Curriculum

Weekly reporting

Board reporting
-
Community Partner reporting
