Job Description

Our client is looking for an exceptionally organized and proactive Due Diligence Coordinator to manage the critical closing process for their Florida property acquisitions. This role is the central hub for all due diligence activities, from contract execution to closing. You will be responsible for coordinating with all internal and external parties, managing documentation, and ensuring every deadline is met. The successful candidate will be a master of organization, capable of navigating the complexities of a real estate transaction with precision and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage a comprehensive due diligence checklist for each acquisition.

  • Establish and maintain virtual data rooms (VDRs), ensuring all documents are logically organized and accessible.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for requesting and tracking all due diligence materials, including title commitments, surveys, environmental reports, zoning information, leases, and service contracts.

  • Coordinate with third-party vendors, including surveyors, environmental consultants, and property condition assessors.

  • Liaise between sellers, brokers, legal counsel, and the internal acquisitions team to ensure a smooth flow of information.

  • Assist in reviewing due diligence materials for completeness and preparing summaries for the team.

  • Track critical dates and deadlines in the purchase agreement and manage the transaction calendar.

  • Assist in preparing closing documents and coordinating with the title company to ensure a successful closing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • 2+ years of experience as a real estate paralegal, transaction coordinator, or in a similar role at a real estate firm or title company.

  • Outstanding organizational skills and an obsessive attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with the lifecycle of a real estate transaction in Florida.

  • Excellent communication skills and a professional, service-oriented demeanor.

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.

  • A Florida real estate license or paralegal certificate is a strong plus.

 

$50,000/yr.
