Accounting Clerk
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of financial concepts, including GAAP and corporate accounting principles.
Duties

Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.

Perform daily data entry of accounts/transactions into Company’s operating software.

Maintain and organize financial records and documentation.

Respond to vendor and client inquiries regarding billing and payments.

Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent required.

1–2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks preferred.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
